FAQ

What geographical area do you serve?

We are located in Germantown and can serve an area  +/- 30 minutes from 53022. Areas included but are not limited to are Cedarburg, Mequon, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Slinger, Hartford, Wauwatosa, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, Brown Deer. Remote services are offered throughout the state of Wisconsin and Texas.  For telehealth services, we serve the entire states of Wisconsin and Texas.

How long are appointments?

Consultations are 15 minutes long and can be completed on phone, or via telehealth. 

Evaluations and treatment sessions are approximately one hour long for neuro or developmental adults and children. 

Myofunctional therapy is 18-30 minutes long dependent on services rendered. Myofunctional therapy can be completed via telehealth or in person visits. 

What is Mobile Occupational Therapy ?

 Mobile occupational therapy involves providing services in your home or community. This approach ensures therapy is tailored to your environment, promotes optimal growth, and supports consistent carryover to help you achieve your goals. 

What does therapy look like at Boudry Therapy and Rehab?

 

Therapy begins with a functional analysis of skills with a focus on building connection and supporting:

  • Roles, routines, and social-emotional health.
  • Family and socioeconomic dynamics.
  • Mental health factors and overall growth.

We use interventions that are stress-free and trauma-sensitive, setting you and your family up for success.

4. What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in a variety of areas, including:

  • Neurological Conditions: Stroke, TBI, concussion, CP, conversion disorders, anoxic brain injuries, and more.
  • Pediatric Developmental and Genetic Conditions.
  • Orofacial Myology: Pre, post, and non-surgical support for tethered tissues, oral motor skill improvement, feeding, posture, and pain management.
  • Infant and Family Mental Health: Strengthening family connections and promoting resilience

How do I get started?

  • Set up a free consult to see if OT is right for you. 
  • An order from your physician or dentist is necessary for OT services. Have your physician fax an order to 262-228-6652. Once received you will be contacted to set up an appointment. 

What diagnosis do you treat?

Boudry Therapy and Rehab treats the following, however is not limited to only the following, 

Babies 1 week to 1 year : 

  • Torticollis, visual torticollis, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injuries, neurological conditions, genetic conditions, shaken baby syndrome, brachial plexus, fine motor and grasping concerns, visual concerns, tethered tissue relases, feeding, and developmental delays. 

Toddler through Teens: 

  • Cerebral Palsy, genetic conditions, Traumatic brain injuries, anoxic brain injuries, executive functioning, visual motor, visual perceptual, Vision, fine motor, coordination, sensory processing/behavioral concerns, access to augmentative communication systems, developmental concerns,  children with underlying mental health and trauma, tethered tissues, oral motor control, and developmental delays. 

Adults

  • Visual conditions post concussion syndrome, stoke (cognition, vision, and motor), traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, anoxic brain injuries, and  genetic conditions that decrease upper body motor coordination, vision, and balance, tethered tissue releases.  


I need a new Wheelchair, where do I go?

Boudry Therapy and Rehab works closely with National Seating and Mobility and NuMotion, two local companies that provide equipment, Wheelchair evaluations are booked  and charged as a 15 minute interval rate of $30; for an hour evaluation is $120  for an hour and $240 hours for 2 hour evaluation. 

 ~1 hour for manual, 1-2 hours for a power wheelchair. 



Do you do evaluations for safe beds and special car seats?

Yes! I work with the local equipment companies; National Seating and Mobility and Numotion.  . Boudry Therapy and Rehab will coordinate with the company of your choice and any previous ATP that you have worked with to set up a time to complete an evaluation. Both the ATP and therapist will be at the evaluation so we can collaborate the best needs.
